A magnificent new house near Windsor like to call it a palace. Everything about the façades expresses grandeur.
Built entirely of French limestone, it has immense Corinthian porticos on both the main façades supporting sculptural pediments.
The corinthian order used here has stylised leaves, in the manner of Palladio.
It took several hundred cubic metres of French stone, cut and carved in France, to bring it to life.
